Allie's wealth of experience and genuine love for children is the driving force behind AllieOop. My Journey in Early Childhood Education

I began my journey in early childhood education in 2016 at the Calhoun Area Career Center. Here I studied ECE coursework and began work experience in preschools, schools, and daycare centers. Upon graduating high school in 2017 I immediately began work as a substitute teacher for an organization that helped provide substitutes for early childhood education settings. After almost a year working as a substitute, I accepted a position as a primary caregiver for infants at a daycare center. In 2019 I relocated to a new town and accepted a position at a local daycare center as a secondary caregiver. I worked as a secondary caregiver for about a year before I decided I was prepared enough to open my own in-home daycare and in 2021 when restrictions during the pandemic lifted I officially applied and became a licensed in-home daycare provider.
